I’m obsessed with my slow cooker these days! I just love how you can throw your ingredients in and forget about it until dinner time. I also love how soft and tender chicken comes out when it’s cooked in a Crock Pot.
This recipe is super simple! You really can’t mess it up. There’s very few ingredients and also very little cleanup. I use this 4 1/2 quart Crock Pot and love it.
WHAT YOU NEED
3-4 chicken breasts (about 1-1½ pounds)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 cup Italian dressing – I love using the Olive Garden Italian dressing, but any kind will work.
This Italian chicken works well in my Creamy Pesto Chicken & Spinach Orzo recipe. It’s also great for salads, or paired with some brown rice and veggies.
You could also serve it over some pasta and top it with some Parmesan cheese. That’s the way my kids love to eat it!
I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

This chicken was simple and AMAZING!!! My 4 girls are beyond picky and every one of them – including me – loved this chicken. Would order it in a restaurant. They were literally fighting over the last piece! I made it with butter garlic baby potatoes and steamed broccoli. Smelled like a restaurant in here!
