Board games have been a favorite in our house ever since my daughters were old enough to start playing them. Our little family of four has made a lot of memories playing board games throughout the years.
The games we play might change, but not our love for playing them. I’ve learned that we like some more than others, so today, I’m sharing some games with you that have been consistent favorites of our family.
Here’s twenty of the best family board games of all time, including the best ages for each game:
1. Don’t Bee Last

This fast-paced card game is a fun pick for family game night, especially when you have a mix of ages playing. It’s completely language-free — using colors and shapes instead of words — which makes it easy for younger kids to jump in without needing to read. Rounds are quick at 10-20 minutes and the “bee card” adds a surprise twist that keeps everyone on their toes. Best for ages 6 and up. Great for 2-6 players.
2. Do You Really Know Your Family?

Filled with fun challenges and questions, this game is designed to help families learn more about each other. It’s a super fun way to test how well you really know your family members. Best for ages 7 and up.
