The item I relied on most when leaving the house with my first daughter was my baby stroller travel system. Someone in my family had given me a stroller where the car seat clicked right onto the top with plenty of storage on the bottom that also came with a car seat base for the car. It was awesome! I loved how easy it was to use and we are still able to use it to this day and my daughter is almost three.

Of course, at the time, I didn’t know what it was called. I just thought it was a cool stroller. So, if you are a brand-new mama, you might also be wondering:

What is a baby stroller travel system?

It is simply an all-in-one system that includes a car seat, car seat base and a stroller that the car seat can easily click into. These are usually a bit more expensive than your standard strollers but it is worth the investment since this stroller will last you far past the infant stage plus they include the car seat. It grows with your child. Once they no longer need the infant car seat to sit in, then you can put them directly in the stroller.

Here, I have put together a list of what I think are the top five baby stroller travel systems of this year. This is based on what I have personally tried as well as information gathered from other sources. I have done a lot of research and I’m including as much information about the product as possible to help you determine what is best for you. Some qualities I may want in a stroller may not be what you’re looking for. Therefore, I suggest looking closely at each stroller’s description to see which one best suits your needs.

#1.) Graco Aire3 Click Connect Travel System

What’s Included

This is a newer version of the stroller we used with our first daughter and we loved it. It comes with Graco’s top-rated SnugRide Click Connect 35 car seat, the car seat base and a three-wheel baby stroller. It has a latch system and the base is very easy to adjust. It is for babies from 4-35 pounds and up to 32 inches.

The price is also very reasonable for this set and is actually cheaper than buying everything separately. Plus, you can use the stroller up until the child is 50 pounds which means you can use this stroller for a few years.

This stroller includes a parent’s tray with two cup holders and zippered storage. It also has a storage basket on the bottom, a removable tray for your child with a cup holder and a large canopy which provides extra coverage with a zippered extension panel.

Pros

Very user friendly, easy to click together

Locking, front swivel wheel

A multi-position seat that reclines fully flat to make it that much more comfortable for your child

Easy-fold design makes it easy to fold up the stroller with one hand

Cons

On the bulky side

Storage space at the bottom is fairly small

#2.) Chicco Bravo Trio Travel System

What’s Included

This system is the same as the rest in that it comes with their KeyFit 30 infant car seat, car seat base and stroller. However, this system is different in the way that it grows with your child. They designed it so that the stroller seat can be removed, creating a convenient frame carrier for the car seat. Without the seat and canopy, the frame becomes more lightweight and easier to maneuver. It will also help to keep your stroller seat in top condition until it’s actually time for you to use it.

Once your child has outgrown the car seat, it functions as an every day stroller that includes a child’s tray with two cup holders and a large, expandable canopy. There is also a parents tray with a large storage basket.

Pros

Easy-to-use, click together system

Quick and smart fold feature makes it easy to fold down the stroller with one pull of a handle. This also activates the front wheels to rotate inward to allow the stroller to stay in a standing position even while folded.

Multi-position seat that reclines flat

Includes a removable padded insert for babies between 4 and 11 pounds

Cons

More expensive

On the bulky side

Some had trouble with it standing on it’s own when folded (as advertised)

#3.) Baby Trend Expedition Jogger Travel System

What’s Included

This system includes a jogging stroller, the Flex Lock 30 infant car seat and the car seat base. The Flex Lock five point harness car seat is rear facing for a baby 5-30 pounds and up to 30 inches. The stroller holds a child up to 50 pounds and 42 inches.

This stroller also features both a parent tray with two cup holders and covered storage as well as a convenient child tray and an additional large storage basket. Adjustable canopy with covered sunroof protects baby from the sun and wind.

Pros

Features a lockable, front swivel wheel

All-terrain tires

Easy-to-use, click together system

Smooth ride, easy to push

Multi-position seat that reclines flat

Cons

Some had trouble with tires deflating easily

Taking the car seat off the base or stroller can be a little difficult

#4.) Graco Fastaction Fold Jogger Click Connect Baby Travel System

What’s Included

You will notice this is the second Graco stroller system on the list and I have to say, they are personally my favorite brand. They are one of the top brands in the industry and I feel like they are good quality, safe systems. Ok – enough of my opinion. Let’s get to the facts!

This stroller includes the Graco Snug Ride Click Connect 35 infant car seat, car seat base and three-wheeled jogging stroller. The car seat is rear facing for infants between 4-35 pounds and up to 32 inches. The stroller holds a child up to 50 pounds.

This has everything people love about the more traditional Graco strollers while adding the performance and maneuverability of an all-terrain jogger. The stroller also features a parent tray that includes a smartphone cradle, extra large storage basket and two cup holders. There is also a child’s tray with a cup holder and small storage area as well.

Pros

Easy-to-use, click together system

Easy, one-hand fold design

Locking, front swivel wheel

Multi-position reclining stroller seat

Cons

On the bulky side, some also said it was too heavy

Stroller seat does not recline fully flat

Some had trouble with the front wheel staying locked

#5.) Disney Amble Quad Travel System

What’s Included

This is one for all my Disney lovers out there. I haven’t personally tried this one but I did a lot of research on it and it has great reviews. I was hesitant to recommend this because it is not as well-known as the rest of the brands on my list but I was surprised with what people were saying. This system comes with a Mickey or Minnie stroller, the Onboard22 infant car seat and car seat base. Many customers commented on the excellent quality of this system as well as ease-of-use.

The car seat is rear facing and holds an infant between 4-22 pounds. The stroller has a large storage basket with a parents tray that has two cup holders and extra storage for keys or a cell phone. It also has a quick and easy fold up system just like the others.

Pros

Easy-to-use, click together system

Lightweight

Awesome Mickey and Minnie design options 🙂

Cons

Rear wheels do not turn so some had trouble when turning the stroller

Some did not like the material of the car seat, felt it was not great quality

Car seat only holds child up to 22 pounds

I hope this helps you in your search for a stroller travel system! Do you have a favorite? If so, let me know!
